Waiting Period of Maruti Suzuki Ignis to Exceed

Maruti Suzuki Ignis Front Low View

 

Launched on January 13, 2017 with starting price of Rs. 4.59 lakh (ex-showroom price) Maruti Suzuki Ignis the compact crossover from country’s leading car making company MSIL has received an encouraging response from Indian car enthusiasts. According to recent industry reports the bookings of Ingis has witnessed dynamic jump in two days after its launch with waiting period extending the period of two months. It is believed in coming days the span of waiting period will go high with increasing number of bookings. The Maruti Suzuki Ignis will be third vehicle of S-Cross and Baleno to be sold by Nexa showroom.
 
Offered in both petrol and diesel variants with 1.2 L VVT and 1.3 L DDiS 190 engine configurations respectively, the petrol variant of Ignis generates the power of 82 bhp and torque of 113Nm, while the diesel variant develops the power of 74 bhp and torque of 190Nm. Both the engines are developed on AGS technology. It has been launched in four trims Sigma, Delta, Zeta and Alpha available in petrol variant, and three trims in Delta, Zeta and Alpha in diesel variant, followed by automatic transmission system offered in Delta and Zeta trims.
 
The major features offered in Ignis on the exterior front includes LED Projector Headlamps, LED DRLs, 3D trapezoidal 5 spoke all-black alloy wheels and fog lamps with chrome garnish. Inside the cabin it sports dual tone color treatment in from of black and ivory color scheme, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and Mirror Link, EDM illumination supported speedometer.
 
As far as safety features are concerned the Ignis embellishes features like dual airbags, ABS+EBD, seatbelts with pre-tensioner force limiter. Apart from all these features it also sports ISOFIX Anchorage feature to offer safe traveling experience to children.
