Maruti Suzuki S-Cross Beats its Contenders: Ecosport, Terrano, Duster in Terms of Sales
Launched almost two months back Maruti Suzuki S-Cross from leading car maker MSIL has succeeded in making people passionate towards it. According to recent reports the crossover has walked over the sale figures of its strong contenders Ford EcoSport, Renault Duster and Nissan Terrano successively for two months after its launch on August 5, 2015.

According to sales data revealed by car industry MSIL sold out 4,602 and 3,603 units of S-Cross during the month of August and September respectively, thus beating the sales figures of its competitors. However S-Cross could not succeed in breaking the charisma of Hyundai Creta recording sales of more than 7,000 units during the same period and grabbing the top position just before the S-Cross.
Offered with two engine options of 200 DDiS 1.3 litre diesel engine boosting the power of 89 bhp and torque of 200 Nm and other one with 320 DDiS 1.6 litre diesel engine tuning the power of 118 bhp and torque of 320 Nm, the cross-over has priced starting from Rs. 8.34 lakh (ex-showroom price) and going high up-to Rs. 13.74 lakh (ex-showroom price). Company is selling S-Cross through its Nexa Premium Showrooms across the country and is speculating to explore its network. It is speculated that this will help in enhancing the sales of S-Cross.
