Maruti Suzuki S-Cross to tentatively debut on August 5, 2015
It is rumored that country’s leading car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki India Limited will launch its up-coming cross over S-Cross in Indian car market during the first week of next month, hopefully on August 5, 2015. The car maker has already commenced the bookings of it and is expected to be priced falling between Rs. 8 lakh to Rs. 11 lakh. After launch it will compete against Ford EcoSport and Renault Duster. The cross over is reported to be offered with two engine options of 1.3L Sigma, 1.3L Sigma (O), 1.3L Delta, 1.3L Zeta, 1.3L Alpha, 1.6L Delta, 1.6L Zeta and 1.6L Alpha The former is reported to be offered with five speed manual gearbox while the later with six speed manual gearbox system.
Both engine configurations would further be divided in eight versions namely 1.3L Sigma, 1.3L Sigma (O), 1.3L Delta, 1.3L Zeta, 1.3L Alpha, 1.6L Delta, 1.6L Zeta and 1.6L Alpha. It is speculated to be offered with contemporary features like key-less entry, title adjustable steering, driver airbag, electronic ORVMs and smartpay infotainment system.
