Maruti Suzuki Wagon R to be customized with Idling System
Taking a step ahead towards fuel efficiency performance by its vehicles country’s leading car manufacturing company MSIL is going to Idling system in its upcoming vehicles. According to reports the first vehicle to be bestowed with this feature would be one of its best selling hatchbacks Wagon R. The system is said to further improve the fuel efficiency performance of vehicle about 2-3 kmpl compared to their existing performance. Apart from Maruti Suzuki India Limited, domestic car maker Mahindra and Mahindra has offered the same feature in Micro Hybrid version of its SUV Bolero.
Talking about the Idling stop system it is the technology that works automatically for stopping and restarting the internal combustion of engine of vehicle and reduces the time which the engine consumes in idling. With introduction of this system in its hatchback MSIL would become first company in Indian car market to equip its hatchback with this feature.
It is reported that this step from MSIL is speculated to further strengthen its position in Indian car market. Moving ahead reports also reveal that after Wagon R company will equip its all upcoming products with same technology. Besides introduction of Idling system company is also going to offer SmartPlay system in its future cars. The system will include 7 inch touchscreen display, connectivity with Bluetooth and Aux, integrated navigation system with voice recognition and USB.
