Maruti SX4 Facelift to launch soon, sources

Maruti Suzuki is working hard to expand its portfolio even more and come up with more innovative models. This time around, Maruti will bring in Maruti Suzuki SX4 Facelift. This was launched in China in 2010. The launch date of the car hasn’t been declared so far. But, of late the car was caught testing on the various locations of the country, which made it quite obvious that Maruti will bring this to the Indian car bazaar very soon. Our sources also confirmed that the launch of the car is not too far. When we saw the facelift SX4 sedan, the car gave a feel of Tata Indigo. Surprising indeed! On the outside, the grille has been sprinkled with a lot of chrome, while the front bumper seemed to be refurbished along with new fog lamp housing. The ORVMs will now be seen with turn indicators and the rear end of the car has been tweaked a bit more to give the facelift a more Indianized feel.

On the inside, the new GPS navigation system would steal the show. Apart from this, few alterations here and there would make SX4 facelift different from the ongoing model. At the same time, Maruti has kept the engine specifications same as before. No changes will be done on that part. However, it is difficult to say if the new Maruti Sx4 sedan will be able to sustain here as the competition in the market have grown over the time. On the other hand, the Indian consumers always welcome new stuff and this could make SX4 facelift a survivor.

The pricing details of the car haven’t been revealed as of now. But, the company will have to make sure that the car is priced competitively. Let’s hope that an aggressive and affordable price tag makes Maruti Suzuki SX4 facelift a decent performer in the bazaar.
