Maruti Wagon R Hybrid to have two new technologies

The Maruti Wagon R Hybrid that is a distant dream for India will get two new technologies in place in the coming month. The 'ENE-CHARGE' and 'ECO-COOL' technologies will not only enhance the performance of the car but will also make it more attractive. Being an Eco car the Wagon R Hybrid uses green technology and this makes it more environment friendly and has low per kilometer running cost. In addition to this the two new technologies will make the car high efficient and will add on to its popularity as the petrol driven Wagon is already famous for its high level of dependability and frugality.

In India, the Wagon is available in petrol, LPG and CNG fuel variants and the best selling Wagon R model is the petrol one. However, rise in petrol prices has put a check on the sales of Wagon R petrol and this also led to the demand for Maruti Wagon R Diesel and it seems that the car maker must be brewing the diesel make at its car plant. However, experts believe that there are some technical and dimension issues with the tall boy car that makes it unfit for a diesel engine. It is also believed that if Maruti is able to successfully put diesel engine under the hood of the Wagon R, this car will rock the segment and what come may then be it Hyundai i20, Ford Figo, Toyota Etios Liva or any other car, it will certainly sell in huge numbers.

The Eco Wagon R that will be on sales next month in Japan is also expected to enter India but there are little prospects of its success in the country as India is not at all familiar with and no used to eco cars. Here, petrol and diesel cars rule and people prefer to go for a petrol car for its low maintenance and for a diesel car if they have to travel more on a per day basis. The Japanese Wagon R Eco has a petrol engine and an electric motor that makes it a Hybrid. With the new technology in place, the mileage could rise to 28.8 kmpl.

VERYYYYY NICE STEP TAKEN BY MARUTI. BUT MY RQST TO MAURTI IS THEY SHOULD IMMDTLY COME OUT WITH HYDROGEN CAR AND THAT WOULD ROCK THE STREETS IN INDIA AND INDIA WOULD EVADE THE IMPORT BILL SUBSTANTIALLY. SIMILARLY I ALSO RQSTD TATA TO COME OUT WITH THESE CARS. BUT NEVERTHELESS HYBDRID CAR IS GOOD NEWS AND ONLY THING IS HOW LONG THE BATTERY WORKS.....

I would advise every hatchback buyer to go for Wagon R as it is truly an economical car and gives a feel of driving a luxury sedan.
