Maruti Wagon R Stingray to be Launched in New Delhi Today
It is reported that Maruti Suzuki India Limited is going to launch the new variant of its highly acclaimed hatchback car Wagon R in New Delhi today. The new variant is sportier adaptation of Wagon R and has been named as Wagon R Stingray. New Wagon R Stingray has been enriched with various remarkable features that are adorned for the first time in this segment by company. It is anticipated that the main objective of launching this variant of Wagon R by Maruti Suzuki is to enhance the sales of highly appreciated variant which in current scenario is noticing decline in sales.
Moving towards the feature mounted in Stingray, it is energized with same 1.0 litre petrol engine generating same 69 PS and torque of 90 Nm. Power to front wheels is forwarded through five speed manual gearbox. However apart from this company has introduced various noticeable changes have been introduced in the exteriors of the new variant. The front of Stingray has been customized with large bumper followed by fog lamps, headlamps have been rejuvenated with projector unit, with this bumper has been decorated with sleek grilles. Similarly the rear side of Stingray has also been decorated with slim and clear lens lamps, boot spoiler.
As far as the interiors of Stingray are concerned nothing much has been changed, but then also the interiors have been ornamented with eye catching color combination. The steering of Wagon R Stingray is mounted with audio control, and it is speculated that the high variant will be supported with two airbags and ABS-EBD. It is speculated that the price of new Wagon R Stingray will be almost Rs.50,000 higher than the price of existing variant of Wagon R in market.
