Mercedes Benz Ener-G-Force SUV set to steal the LA Auto show

The Germany based leading luxury car maker Mercedes Benz is all set to steal the show at the upcoming LA Auto show design challenge with displaying its super designer Ener-G-Force Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV). The innovative design challenge is based on the theme of Highway Patrol Vehicle, where future cars of year 2025 were expected to be showcased. However, going one step ahead, Mercedes Benz is set to display an actual vehicle instead of just a concept version. The show is scheduled to be held by the end of this month.

The Ener-G-Force is a design marvel to which company has developed at their Advanced Design Center in California. The model carries the designing cues of the company’s future off road vehicle design. The future cars of year 2025 will be running on water with the help of hydrogen fuel cell. The technology will be based on the extraction of Hydrogen from water with the help of ‘Hydro-Tech Converter’. The generated electricity will be powering the four wheels of the car with the help of one motor for each wheel.

While elaborating the technology followed under the company’s futuristic Ener-G-Force Sports Utility Vehicle, Mr. Gorden Wagener, Director of Design, Mercedes Benz, said that it is vision of an off-roader which not only reflects tomorrow’s adventure but also invokes the company’s sports icon G model’s genes.

Speaking on the designing of Ener-G-Force vehicle, Hubert Lee, one member of the team of designers of Ener-G-Force, said that the company wanted to take a clear step ahead (in the direction of designing future off-roaders) but at the same time want to have the characteristic features of G series.
