Mercedes Benz GL Class CKD Kits to India next May
It seems that Mercedes Benz is all set to transform the Indian car market. It has recently launched the Mercedes Benz M Class SUV and it is all set to launch the A Class hatchback next month. Also, it is expected that the car maker is preparing for a big price reduction soon as it is soon to add new models to its production line in India. As per reports the German car maker will be sending the knocked-down kits of the new ML Class to plants in Asia and most importantly India. These kits will be exported from US to India.

Meanwhile, the reports also suggest that the next generation Mercedes GL Class SUV will also be arriving in the markets other than US as well soon. Currently, the GL Class is being manufactured at the Alabama and Vance plant. It is expected that Mercedes is preparing a big time for Diwali in Indian and is preparing itself for launches and price slash ahead of the festival in India. Notably, in India, car buying is at its prime during the festive season and every car maker eagerly awaits for this time as car sales is on high during the Navratra and Diwali.

Also, Mercedes is preparing a ground for itself to regain its numero uno position in the luxury car segment after it lost its title to BMW India and later when it was pushed to the third pedestal by Audi India. Now that Mercedes Benz is soon to launch the A Class hatchback at a price of around Rs 24 lakh. The new GL class is also coming next year and it will also be priced less following its in house production in India.
