Mercedes Benz raises curtain from Mercedes Benz – GLA Class at Frankfurt Motor Show
German auto giant Mercedes Benz has raised curtain from its first compact SUV Mercedes Benz GLA-Class designed on MFA background during Frankfurt Motor Show. It is reported that Mercedes Benz will launch GLA class in two variants in Indian auto market during 2014. The petrol variant will be enriched with 1.6 litre petrol engine that churns the power of 156 bhp, whereas the diesel variant will be empowered with 2.2 litre diesel engine that will generate the power of 136 bhp.
Physically Mercedes Benz GLA-Class has height of 1494 mm, length of 4417mm and width of 1804mm.It is expected that GLA-Class will be tough contender for BMW X1 and Audi Q3. Interiors of Mercedes Benz have been designed to provide sufficient seating space to four passengers followed by sufficient boot space. Mercedes Benz GLA-Class is expected to carry the prestige of GL series of cars launched by Mercedes Benz to new height.
