Mitsubishi Mirage launches
Finally, Mitsubishi has launched the small car Mirage. The launch of this small car has been anticipated for long and it was awaited as one of the most fascinating cars. Also, this will be the entry level car by the Japanese car manufacturer and is hoped to improve the stronghold over the market. The small car Mitsubishi Mirage is expected to change the fate of Mitsubishi in Philippines as being a small car it has the potential to bag volumes. The Mirage price in Philippines starts at an Indian rupee equivalent of Rs 6.64 lakh and goes up to Rs 8.5 lakh for the Mirage GLS 1.2 CVT model which is the automatic version.

The Mirage car launch has also been proposed in India but it is still a wonder why the car maker is not able to launch it in here. The car is a sub compact and will be catering to the city needs. The car with its all new 1.2-liter 3 in-line DOHC MIVEC gasoline engine will offer high level of economy and driving comfort despite being a small car. Weighing only 800 kilograms the car has been designed with aerodynamics in mind. With seating capacity for five adults and a 235 litre cargo space, the car will have an upper hand in terms of its features. The car has also been adorned with a lot of safety features including air bags, alarm system, multi function information display besides ABS and EBD. The car also comes with Start Stop button that means there is no need of the key.

The Mirage is available in manual and automatic transmission options and it is believed that with the economy on upside, the car maker will be able to get a good growth here compared to the sluggish economy in US and Europe. An India launch is still awaited.

Wow,,, What a cute car! I am sure that Mitsubishi Mirage will have great efforts in Indian auto market if the company launches it at competitive price range. Along with petrol model the company should also bring out it with much demanded diesel and CNG fuel choices too.
