More than 1 lakh Hyundai Creta booked so far

Hyundai Creta a new star in compact SUV segment launched by Korean car maker last year in July 2015 has garnered more than 1 lakh bookings within the eight months of its launch a new milestone in the history of car maker. According to sources of company they have received more than one lakh bookings and more than five lakh enquiries for compact SUV.  Sources of company also revealed that they have till now delivered about 56 K units of Hyundai Creta across the country.

Developed on company’s Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 design language Creta is launched in both petrol and diesel variants with petrol variant comprising of 1.6 litre VTVT petrl engine churning the power of 121 bhp and torque of 151Nm. The diesel variant on other side sports 1.6 litre CRDi diesel engine that boosts the power of 126 bhp and torque of 260Nm. Both the engines are mated with six speed manual gear transmission system, followed by six speed automatic transmission system in 1.6 litre CRDi diesel engine.

Delighted from Creta’s performance, Mr. Y.K. Koo, Managing Director and CEO, HMIL said, "We thank our customers for the tremendous response with the record fastest 1 lakh bookings in 8 months. Like in the domestic market, CRETA has generated great response in Global markets with more than 28,000 orders. To reduce the waiting period, we are increasing CRETA production by 30% to total production of 13,000 units of which 10,000 units will be allocated for the domestic market".
