MSIL enhances Ciaz family by introducing ZXi+ Automatic version
Without any aggressive promotion country’s number one car maker MSIL has introduced one more variant in one of its best selling sedan Ciaz. The newly added variant has been automatic version which is offered in top end variant Zxi+ and is offered with price tag of Rs. 10.15 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi). Till now the ZXi+ variant was offered only with manual transmission system and automatic transmission was only offered in VXi and ZXi. The automatic transmission introduced is same four speed automatic transmission system which is available in VXi and Zxi versions.
Under the hood the Ciaz ZXi+ Automatic continues 1373cc four cylinder engine churning the power of 91 bhp and torque of 130Nm at 6,000 rpm and 4,000 rpm respectively and will deliver an average of 19.12 kmpl. The mid sized sedan was launched by MSIL two years back in 2014 to compete against Honda City. However within this two years of span the car has undergone various updates in form of VXi (O) and VDi (O) variants enriched with safety features and diesel variant modified with SHVS hybrid engine. Apart from this the car maker also introduced RS version in Ciaz which was offered in price range of Rs. 9.2 lakh to Rs. 10.28 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi) in October 2015.
