New Chevrolet Captiva 2.2 AT launched at Auto Expo
The Chevrolet Captiva has secured a distinctive position in the premium SUV (Sports Utility Vehicle) segment since its initial launch in 2008 in India. Now, to carry the inheritance forward will be New Chevrolet Captiva 2.2 with 6-speed Automatic Transmission (AT) that breaks cover at Delhi Auto Expo. The 2012 Chevrolet Captiva will go sales at anytime in the initial quarter of this year and will be priced around INR 22 Lakh to 24 Lakh for base variant. The luxurious vehicle has a spanking new sporty look in the front along with more muscular exterior design and awesome jet-black interiors. The peculiar features that the off-roader possesses are cruise control, air-conditioner with ventilation system, a dual-row heating, electric parking brake, rain-sensing wipers, and a stylish sunroof, all these novel elements ensures great excitement and coziness to the occupants.

Besides the New Chevrolet Captiva 2.2 AT, General Motors will also be showcasing other major attractions like the Chevrolet Camaro Convertible, Corvette Stingray Concept and Chevrolet Cruze racing car at the 2012 Delhi Auto Expo. Furthermore, Chevrolet Beat hatchback will also be in attendance, which won the Adventure Category of the Raid de Himalaya during 2011. More on the display list of Chevrolet pavilion will be the latest Chevrolet Sail hatchback and the Chevrolet MPV. Both these vehicles are expected to debut tomorrow at the event along with Chevrolet Beat Music Edition.
The Chevrolet array of cars mentioned above will be accompanied by yet another powerful vehicle in the form of Chevrolet Cruze racing car which will also be on display at the show. This notable Car is persistently winning the Manufacturer’s Championship at the World Touring Car Championship (WTCC) from the last two years. The WTCC is one out of the three FIA world championships, besides the Formula One and the World Rally Championship.
