New Chevrolet Captiva launched
Chevrolet’s sole SUV in India is soon to have a new facelift model coming. The car has already got a makeover in Korea and soon it will be replicated to the Indian model. The car is believed to get a fresh start to its sales after the segment leader Toyota Fortuner has almost grabbed the market to its side. In addition to this, the car will be able to pose itself in a better fashion as against Ford Endeavor, Skoda Yeti and others. Termed as a soft roader, the new Captiva launched in Korean has received a sincere facelift with numerous design changes making it almost a new car. In India, the Captiva price starts at Rs 18.74 lakh and the new model price is expected to be somewhat the same as the market it too competitive.
A close look at the images of the new Captiva reveals that its design engineers have spent most of the time to reshape the front of the car. The new grille and new headlamps are not just customary additions but these have considerably improved the front appearance of the car. In India the launch of the new Chevrolet Captiva will be a makeover in less than a year and it seems that Chevrolet is in a mood to encash the growing popularity of SUVs in the country.
In Korea, the new Chevrolet car model has also received new engine options in the form of 2.2 L motor mated to an automatic transmission. The most notable difference is also seen at the rear that got a new pair of LED based tail lights. On the inside as well there are some striking changes that have altogether stepped up the interior looks of the car. It is believed that all these changes will be duplicated on to the Indian model of Captiva very soon, probably in April.
