New Chevrolet Spark teaser on Facebook, launch on Thursday

The Maruti Alto 800 competitor new Chevrolet Spark is getting restless to launch. Though the official launch is slated three days from now on Oct 25, the teasers of the same have come up on the Facebook. The official website is already up and showcasing the new Spark and its features and in order to update its Facebook fans, Chevrolet has put up images and teaser of the new Spark on it page. The new Spark price will in all probability will be the same and it is expected that at this price, a lot of new features will be added in order to make the car attractive than the Alto 800. The Chevrolet Spark bookings are already on.

However, experts believe that the new Spark will not be able to spark off the sales of this small car as people felt lacunae after the Maruti 800 was pulled off the metros. Now that the Maruti Alto 800 is in there is an excellent option for them and that too at a price of Rs 2.44 lakh which is much below the Spark.

Sensing the huge demand for Alto 800, some experts do suggest that the Chevrolet could consider a price slash for the time being so as to fetch some sales from the Maruti car. Though the chances of a price cut are rate but if it is there, the new Spark could get the required spark. Meanwhile, the latest teaser on Facebook is going viral and the 230k fan base of Chevrolet India is going to make this car famous even before its launch on October 25. The page says, “Double the colour, double the style…Dual Tone Urban Interiors to get you noticed. Only in India’s favorite ‘first’ car…” which is clear indication of how bullish the car maker is about the new version of the small car Spark?
