New Honda CR-V launched in Jeddah, India launch soon
The fourth generation Honda CR-V has been launched in Saudi Arabia by Abdullah Hashim, the only distributor of Honda cars in Saudi Arabia. CR-V is a loved compact SUV which has gained popularity in global markets. First introduced in the year 1996, more than five million units of Honda CR-V have been sold in the global market.

The fourth generation CR-V now flaunts spruced up exteriors, more comfortable interiors, avant-grade features, the five seater compact SUV offers a requisite ride. As compared to its antecedent, the fourth generation Honda CR-V comes with sharp bodylines and a much pronounced front facia. The three-bar grille makes prominent the smooth lines on the front bumper.

The compact SUV has been launched in three trim levels, Honda CR-V LX, EX and EX-leather grades. In the base model LX, the fabric upholstery comes standard while the EX variant dons enhanced fabric and the EX-leather variant comes with leather upholstery as standard. The revamped CR-V is armed with a 2.4L, DOHC, 4 cylinder gasoline engine that can churn out 20 HP more power than its predecessor that is maximum power of 188 HP of power at 7,000 rpm and a peak torque of 22.6 kg-m at 4,400 rpm. New CR-V comes stuffed with an array of state-of-the-art features and delivers a compelling performance, low emission and a decent mileage. The i-VTEC valve-control systems enable comparatively higher fuel efficiency than its forerunner.

The 2.4L engine is mated to a 5-AT gearbox that works closely with the powertrain’s Drive-By-Wire throttle control that helps in shifting the gears without any fuss. 2012 Honda CR-V is bestowed with a Real Time AWD coupled with intelligent Control System. Salient changes have been made in the chassis of the fourth generation Honda CR-V including the rejuvenated interiors and an enhanced ride quality.
