New Honda CRV coming, India could miss the diesel heart this time a well
The Japanese car maker Honda is about to launch the new Honda CRV. This time as well it will be just the cosmetics and no under the hood changes. So, is it what India is waiting for? Is it not the diesel engine that is hotly anticipated under the hood of the car? If we go by popular belief, what India needs is a diesel avatar of the CRV rather than some bumper, headlamp or interior refinish. Critics also go to the extent of projecting slow sales of the new CRV if Honda misses the diesel engine variant launch this time. If launched in the petrol only variants, the new CRV price will be somewhat the same as the present generation of the car with a little appreciation.

The new CRV will have the 2 Litre iVTEC and the 2.4 litre iVTEC petrol engine configurations but there will be a lot of anticipation for the diesel engine option. The petrol model will have a price tag of around Rs 20 lakh and it will have those takers who wish to have a very charming SUV with lots of horses under the hood. As per the reports, the car will have a lot of changes on cards and it will be a total revamp on the outside and on the inside as well.
Meanwhile, the Honda Brio is setting new benchmarks as far as sales are concerned in Indonesia. In India as well this small car is liked for its space, robust engine and highly appealing looks. Termed to be more than hatchback, the Brio is a small car with lots of luxury car features that make it stand apart from other cars. Honda Brio diesel is also hotly anticipated but its launch plans will be set after the Honda Amaze arrives in India.
