New Honda CRV launch on Tuesday
To be or not to be is the question, it seems, for Honda India. Going through tantrums, the Japanese car maker has suffered a lot since 2011 in terms of slid sales. Now, the car maker is all set to launch the new Honda CRV, its SUV. This SUV competes with some of the big wigs in the segment and is considered to be one of the SUVs which people buy for its sheer performance. This SUV is currently offered in petrol only models and the new CRV is believed to replicate the same engine options. However, it is time to keep fingers crossed as no wonder Honda India could bring Honda CRV diesel to India as well. If that happens on this Feb 12 (expected date of launch of new CRV), it will be the day that will transform the fate of this car maker in the country.
As India is fast moving towards diesel powered vehicles, petrol cars and petrol car makers have suffered a lot and this is the reason why Maruti India still could not post double digit growth while Mahindra (which has maximum diesel car models) is able to post highly inspiring results despite of the overall meek sentiment in the car industry. Now that Honda is almost there with the new SUV, it is expected that it will also contribute to give a spur to its car sales.
The new model of CRV has a new platform underneath and this makes a little more room for the occupants in the form of more legroom and shoulder space. The high end variant new CRV will also have a host of features including new navigation system as well as new audio system. ‘Inspire’ styling and ‘Elegance’ styling packages will be add on and these hope to make the car more customized than the standard model.
