New Honda CRV launch tomorrow - features, specifications out

Honda India is all set to transform its image in India and this time it is with the latest facelift model of Honda CRV. The new CRV is all set to be launched tomorrow but the images and the specification of it have been revealed ahead of the launch. The new CRV is expected to take a new look and with it there will be a new price tag to the claimed to be most gorgeous of the SUVs. Industry reports suggest that the new price will be around Rs 21 lakh and the SUV will be revolutionizing the segment despite of being a heftily priced car.

Talking about the new features of the new CRV, the car will have four variants. Two will be powered by the 2 L petrol engine while rest of the two will have the 2.4 L engine under the bonnet. Both these engine options are petrol powered and so now all scope of a diesel powered CRV launch are nullified. The 2L engine has 154 bhp power output while the 2.4 L engine has a peak power output of 187 bhp. Thus one can be sure that there will be no dearth of power and the SUV will have enough thrust to overcome any terrain. The two engine options will have 13.7 kmpl and 12 kmpl mileage delivery respectively as per ARAI specifications.  

New CRV features include HID projector headlamps and 17 inch alloys besides a new grille and lots of chrome at the rear. The Outside rear view mirrors get indicators and are motorized as well. An audio system is integrated into the infotainment system with USB and other connectivity options. Steering gets the cruise control and audio controls. Automatic air conditioning, Hill Assist…and a lot of other features all make this car all new as compared to the exiting model.
