New Suzuki Alto could deliver 33 kmpl of mileage!
Suzuki has been keeping up very busy. Reason? Well the car maker is putting in a lot of efforts to make the next gen 2014 Suzuki Alto, called A-Star in India one of the most fuel efficient compact cars in the world. Recently, this one was caught during its test runs, but we could figure out then what exactly will this new Alto will be offering. But now, according to our reliable sources, this small car would be extremely fuel efficient. It will be delivery an ecstatic fuel economy of 33 kmpl. Impressive isn’t it?
The technical specifications in the 2014 Suzuki Alto could be expected to be quite decent and not at all a letdown. Apparently this one would be featuring 660cc three-cylinder petrol engine, which might churn out 52BHP of peak power along with 63Nm of maximum torque. For Japanese fans, 2014 Alto will couple the engine with CVT automatic transmission along with the very popular start-stop system. The fuel economy of 33 kmpl will certainly act as an icing on the cake. Besides being technically strong, the new Alto will be lighter in weight, which means the new body design will certainly augment the pickup and acceleration figures as well. Plus being the hybrid, the competitors will have to be prepared for 2014 Alto.
However, there is no news, if this next generation 2014 Suzuki Alto will come to India or not. But as of now, the Indian fans will have to do with this one. On the other hand, to make its Indian fans happy, Maruti Suzuki is planning to launch four new SUVs in next two years. Amongst the four, one will be the Maruti XA Alpha concept, which was showcased at the 11th Auto Expo in New Delhi last year.
