Next Generation Expected Maruti Suzuki Ertiga Spotted Testing
It is rumored that spies have caught the generation next Ertiga MPV from Indo-Japanese car makers Maruti Suzuki India Limited being tested in the outskirts of the Delhi. Although the prototype of the vehicle was completely camouflaged but going through the design, license number plated and location of the test it is almost confirmed that the vehicle being tested is generation next Ertiga from MSIL. From the images leaked on different portals it is speculated that in its new avatar the Ertiga will receive extended length and will be developed on the same platform on which next generation Dzire and Swift are developed.

The new Ertiga is expected to make its debut sometimes during the next year and will undergo vast cosmetic updates including the engine configuration. It is believed that the next generation Eritga would be empowered with the new 1.4 litre petrol and 1.5 litre diesel engine configurations on which the MSIL is working on currently.

As far as cosmetic updates are concerned the new Ertiga is expected to continue with the same front fascia including rounded fog lamps, same front windscreen and ORVMs. The headlamp cluster might undergo some tweaks followed by turn indicator lamps placed closed to the front grille. The rear portion looks s lightly enhanced due to increase in length, the taillights too looked quite similar to the existing version. In simple words it can be said that in the new Ertiga would be the extended version of ongoing Ertiga.
