Next generation Honda CR-V caught in USA
The next generation Honda CR-V is caught testing on American roads for the first time. Expected to be launched in 2016 the new Honda CR-V is expected to undergo various cosmetic changes, especially on the exterior front. According to reports received from the spies the front fascia will receive new headlights and new grille along with newly developed bumper. On the other side rear is expected to continue the same look as offered in the existing version of CR-V with minute changes on tail lights and bumper. Talking about the changes offered in the interiors the spies could not succeed in capturing the photos of interiors.
Moving ahead towards the greasy changes the car maker will continue the existing engine configuration of 2.4-litre, 4-cylinder i-VTEC engine producing 185bhp and 221Nm of torque. The variant to be offered in European market will sport 1.6 litre i-DTEC engine developing the power of 118bhp and torque of 300 Nm, followed by 2.2 litre i-DTEC engine boosting the power of 148 bhp and torque of 349 Nm and 2.0 litre i-VTEC engine generating the power of 148bhp and torque of 192 Nm. The vehicle will be offered with four wheel drive and all wheel drive option depending upon the requirement of engine.
