Nissan to Launch 2017 Micra in India on June 2, 2017
Finally the Japanese car maker Nissam Motors has broken its silence and confirmed that it will launch the generation next Micra hatchback in Indian car market on June 2, 2017. The next generation Micra was unveiled last year during the Paris Motor Show, but the car maker did not said anything about its planning of launching the 2017 Micra in Indian continent, but now it looks that the Japanese auto giant has changed its mind and now the car maker is ready to make this vehicle make its debut in India also. So, before the car maker raises the curtain from its best selling hatchback let us have the glimpse of Micra.
Engine: Engine efficiency is the key factor in the upcoming Micra. Under the hood it will be offered in both petrol and diesel variants with option of 900cc turbocharged three-cylinder petrol engine and 1.5 litre diesel engine with both engines boosting the power of 90hp. The engine transmission duties are expected to be performed by both five speed manual gear and automatic transmission system.
Exterior Features: The new Micra is developed on company’s new design philosophy with signature clue. The major features on the exterior includes distinctive V-motion grille, the sharp edged character lines that move across the body, boomerang shaped light, and floating roof that is almost common in all vehicles from Nissan. Additional features offered on the exterior front will include extended roofline reaching to spoiler, enhancing the aerodynamic appearance of the car, rear door handles hidden in the C-pillars and many more.
Safety Features: It would be interested to know that upcoming Micra will be miles ahead from the other cars in same segment. The latest safety features offered in any hatchback for the first time includes Lane Departure Prevention, Intelligent Emergency Braking and Around View Monitor, High Beam Assist and Blind Sport Warning, Traffic Sign Recognition and few more.
