Platinum Edition of Porsche Cayenne Introduced
German car maker Porsche has introduced special edition of its luxurious SUV Cayenne in Indian car market dubbed as Platinum Edition and priced Rs. 1.06 crore for petrol and Rs. 1.08 crore for diesel variant respectively. Addressing the launch of Porsche Cayenne, Special Edition, Mr. Pavan Shetty, Director of Porsche India, said, "The Cayenne Platinum Edition is a thrilling four-door sports car with purposefully selected materials for an even greater sense of style. The comprehensive range of standard equipment and eye-catching details makes this premium model a truly attractive offering for our enthusiasts”. The bookings of this edition have been commenced by car maker and its deliveries are going to begin from next month.
Under the hood it is aspirated with 3.6 litre V6 petrol engine boosting the power of 300 bhp and diesel engine of 3.0 litre V6 engine that churns the power of 245 bhp. Inside the cabin it adorns electronic eight way adjustable leather sport seats, head rests and Alcantara Centre panels. Apart from this it also adorns seven inch touchscreen infotainment system which supports Apple CarPlay and navigation system. Other features offered on the interiors include BOSE surround sound system followed by an analogue clock mounted on the dashboard.
The interior is dominated by leather sport seats with electric eight-way adjustment, Alcantara centre panels and the Porsche crest on all head rests. The Platinum Edition also features the latest generation Porsche Communication Management (PCM) system with a seven-inch touchscreen and support for Apple CarPlay and navigation. Other premium features include a BOSE Surround Sound system and an analogue clock integrated in the dashboard. On exterior it sports features like Bi-Xenon headlights along with Porsche’s Dynamic Light System (PDLS), park assist system and power steering plus as standard feature.
