Refreshed Porsche Cayenne, Cayenne Coupe Launched In India
The German luxurious sports carmaker Porsche has launched the refreshed Cayenne and Cayenne Coupe in the Indian car market. The facelift versions of both vehicles undergo cosmetic updates on both exterior and interior fronts. Both Cayenne and Cayenne Coupe are offered with a starting price of Rs 1.36 crore and Rs 1.42 crore respectively. Both prices are ex-showroom prices. The company has started receiving bookings for both vehicles and will soon initiate their deliveries to buyers.
To begin with engine configuration both vehicles will receive power from a 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged V6 petrol engine, boosting the power of 353 PS and the maximum torque of 500 Nm. The transmission duties will be performed by an eight-speed automatic transmission system. With the top speed of 248 kmph, Cayenne can touch the mark from 0 to 100 kmph in 5.4 seconds. According to reports, the hybrid version will be introduced with the same engine configuration and mated with an electric motor. With a limited number of Porsche aspirants in India, it will compete with Audi Q8, Range Rover Sport, and Mercedes-Benz GLE.
Talking about interior changes the revamped Cayenne receives a 12.6-inch digital instrument cluster, an optimal 10.9-inch touchscreen, a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a triple-screen dashboard. On the exterior front, it receives an updated front fascia with a set of new LED matrix headlights. Moving to the rear profile, the number plate is now placed on the rear bumper instead of the tailgate. The LED taillights also receive an update followed by the Porsche badge mounted on the centre.
