Refreshed Ford EcoSport without boot mounted spare wheel caught testing
As reported earlier U.S car maker is speculating to bring the upgraded version of its SUV EcoSport soon in Indian car market with various contemporary changes including absence of boot mounted spare wheel at the rear fascia. It is now reported that spies have caught the prototype of same being tested on Coimbatore roads in Tamil Nadu. According to reports the spotted test mule looked alike the one which was showcased during Geneva Motor Show held this year in March.

Under the hood engine emission norms have been upgraded to Euro 6.1 emission, thus boosting 5PS more power than existing version of EcoSport. Moving ahead the suspension system has also been upgraded by integrating rear twist beam, new spring and damper for providing improved stability. To deliver better performance ESC and EPS are optimized by reducing the ground clearance by 10mm. Moving towards the changes that would be offered in new EcoSport apart from removal of boot mounted spare wheel include refreshed rear swing gate facilitating convenient opening with small space, registration plate has been placed at the tailgate, pseudo silver skid plate has been placed at rear bumper to enhance its look.
Moving towards the interiors you will find enhanced instrument cluster, chrome garnished power window buttons, doors and bonnet developed with thick material, rear view camera, sat-nav system, chrome accents and many more. It is anticipated that the refreshed version of Ford EcoSport will enjo the same success as it enjoyed during the time of inception for first time in 2013.
