Refreshed Hyundai Elantra showcased in Beijing Motor Show
Korean car maker Hyundai Motors has unveiled the generation next Elantra sedan during the Beijing Motor Show 2016 along with Verna concept. The China bound version of Elantra would be offered with option of three engines comprising 1.6 litre petrol engine with power generation efficiency of 126 bhp, 1.6 liter with minute difference of power generation, and 1.4 litre turbocharged engine generating the power of 128 bhp. These three engines will be mated with six speed manual, six speed automatic and seven speed dual clutch automatic gearbox. The India bound version might also get 1.6 litre diesel engine along with dual clutch automatic transmission system.

The unveiled version of Elantra is already being sold in various international markets and is expected to hit the Indian shores by end of this year. Bizarre about introducing new Elantra in Indian car market is that existing version of Hyundai Elantra is still receiving positive response from Indian car enthusiasts and enjoying decent sales. It is speculated that upcoming version of Elantra will carry additional features than compared to its existing version.
