Refreshed Maruti Suzuki Ertiga Introduced with price tag of Rs. 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom price)
As an impact of increasing cut throat competition in MPV segment country’s leading car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki India Limited has launched the refreshed version of its MPV Ertiga in Indian car market on Friday October 16, 2015 with starting price of Rs. 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom price). Before launch in Indian car market the Indo-Japanese car maker had showcased the same during GIIAS 2015 this year in August. After launch the MPV will now emerge as strong contender for Lodgy from Korean car maker Hyundai Motors, Mobilio from Japanese car maker Honda and of-course the dominator Toyota Innova.

Continuing the same engine configuration of K14B in petrol variant boosting the power of 95 PS and torque of 130Nm with improved fuel efficient performance of 17.5 kmpl, the new Ertiga now receives mechanical change in diesel variant. The diesel variant is offered with SHVS DDiS 200 engine carried from Ciaz sedan launched recently making Ertiga a hybrid MPV offering fuel efficiency of 24.52 kmpl. The worth mentioning feature of SHVS engine system is integration of engine start-stop button empowered with brake energy regeneration which is helpful in enhancing the fuel efficiency performance of diesel trim. Both the engines are mated with five speed manual gear transmission system followed by four speed automatic gearbox system.
Talking about the features offered in new Ertiga to make it competitive against its rivals it has been offered with features like key less entry with engine push button start-stop, new upholstery, 7 inch SmartPlay infotainment system and 50:50 split third row seat and many more.
