Renault KWID Launched, Priced at Rs. 2.56 Lakh
The renowned name in car manufacturing, Renault has surprised India by unwrapping its new hatchback KWID, especially for budget-conscious people. The French auto major has tried to knock down with a feather by giving it the SUV-like styling, but in real, it is a segment hatchback. India was waiting for this vehicle from a long time, and now the much anticipated Renault new car is right there to show its excellence and speed at Ex-showroom price of Rs 2.56 lakh only.
Let’s talk about the performance, its petrol engine with 3-cylinder is just outstanding with capability of generating 54 Bhp peak power and 72 Nm of Torque. Integrated with 5-speed manual gearbox, it seems an ordinary one, but the new CMF-A platform makes it an extra-ordinary car offering good Power to Weight ratio, thanks to joint venture of Renault and Nissan. With 25.17kmpl mileage, KWID keeps the caliber of luring car lovers proves itself as a fuel-efficient car.
Company has also brought an Android app for this entry-level car which allows you to take a 360 degree view of this vehicle. Users of this app can also browse the feature list of the same along with the accessories. Users can also book the car direct from this application.
Renault has brought 6 varinats for this budget car including Standard, RXE, RXE(O), RXL, RXT and RXT (O), prices of each are shown below:
Renault does lots of job in its interior and exterior. A seven-inch touch screen with chrome surrounding makes it luxurious with Bluetooth connectivity and the elegance of inside will remind you the inside of Duster. Few other features include 180mm ground clearance, 300-liter boot space. Few specifications and features are yet to know as company has not revealed everything.
Mr. Sumit Sawhney, MD Renault India stated that deliveries of Renault KWID will commence from the beginning of the festive season in India next month.
