Renault KWID to be enriched with features like 1.0 litre engine, airbags, ABS and more
Successful launch in Indian car market with more than 70,000 bookings and number of bookings increasing every day is enough to reveal the success of small Kwid launched by French car maker Renault in Indian car maker during September this year. Inspired from the success enjoyed by this version of Kwid car maker is going to bring its more advanced version which is reported to be enriched not only with you more powerful engine but also with contemporary safety features like airbags and ABS.

According to reports the proposed trim of Kwid will be empowered with 1.0 litre engine and will be enriched with features like airbags and ABS as standard feature in all trims. It is also reported that this edition of Kwid will also be mated with AMT system and might be launched in Indian car market sometimes during the second half of the next year.
The existing version of Kwid is offered with 799 cc , 3 cylinder petrol engine churning the power of 54 PS and torque of 72 Nm and mated with five speed manual gearbox. Developed on CMF-A platform Kwid delivers fuel efficient performance of 25.17 kmpl and is offered in four variants namely Standard, RxE, RxL and RxT. The waiting period of ongoing trim has crossed the period of more ten months.
