Renault to launch KWID in India on September 24, 2015
French car maker Renault is going to launch its highly anticipated and promoted small car KWID finally in Indian car market tomorrow on September 24, 2015. Acclaimed to deliver the fuel efficient performance of 25.17 kmp KWID would be the one of the best hatchback in Indian car market that would be embellished with remarkable contemporary features. This would be first hatchback by car maker that would be developed on CMF-A platform.
In the beginning KWID be offered in petrol variant which would be energized with 799cc, three cylinder petrol engine that will generate the power of 54 PS and torque of 72Nm. It would be mated with five speed manual gear transmission system. After launch it will rival against Eon from Hyundai and Alto 800 from MSIL. It would be offered in overall four variants Std, RxE, RxL and RxT.

According to reports after launching this version in Indian car market car maker is also speculating to introduce 1.0 litre petrol engine in the hatchback by the end of this year. It is expected to be offered with automated manual transmission system.
