Signature Edition of Wagon R from MSIL
Just couple of weeks after the launch of Maruti Wagon R Stingray, India’s leading passenger car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki India Limited has limited edition of Maruti Wagon R as R Madhavan Signature Edition Wagon R. It is self explanatory from the name that R Madhavan Signature edition has been recommended by famous star of South Indian and bollywood movies R. Madhavan, also known as maddy. As a general practice companies introduce limited editions with enhanced features in engine, but Maruti has continued the existing 1.0 litre four cylinder engine of Wagon R in Signature edition, churning the power of 69 PS and torque of 90 Nm. It would be interested to know that MSIL has also introduced CNG version of Signature edition. It is reported that Signature edition has been launched in both LXi and VXi versions.
As far as notable changes are concerned in this edition MSIL has introduced various changes in the exteriors and interiors. The exteriors have been enhanced with rear parking sensors, rear spoiler followed by graphics of signature on the sides of vehicles and signature of Madhavan on the rear side. At the interior front MSIL has enhanced interiors with superior quality leather seats to provide comfort seating experience to passengers, connectivity with Bluetooth, high defined Kenwood Double Din Music System that is compatible with AUX and USB, steering wheel covered with qualitative leather.
The market price of these integrated accessories costs to Rs. 32,000, but in this limited edition company is offering them at Rs. 20,000. Industry experts believe that with forthcoming festive season Maruti speculates to enhance the sales of its highly acclaimed model Wagon R.
