Suzuki SX4 gets another facelift

Suzuki is working hard on making it cars world class all across the globe. The Suzuki SX4 has gone under the knife once again, but this time for China. It is not the first time that SX4 sedan has been face-lifted for China. Earlier as well, the firm did give it makeover, which would come to India very soon. But if we look at the latest version, it isn’t as impressive as we had thought. The front profile of the car has gone flatter, while the headlamps are flared. The bumper and grille are also modified but surely not in a good-looking way. The rear profile of the car features some changes in the name of bumper and tail lamps as well.

This model will be replacing the existing one in the Chinese car bazaar and is expected to be officially launched in 2014. Coming back to the appearance, the car has taken some design clues from Hyundai Verna, which failed to make the car lively. The engine under the bonnet will not be changed and would be continued as it is now for China.

Talking about the Indian facelift of Maruti SX4 sedan, the car will be sold with Petrol, diesel and Petrol-CNG engine options. The car maker will be keeping the technical specs of the car same, but the exteriors will be seen refurbished along with a bit of redesigning for the interiors. Right now the car is going through its test runs and is expected to be launched in next couple of months. The pricing details of the same haven’t been revealed till now, but being a facelift, one should expect a bit higher price as compared to the current one. Hopefully, the facelifted Maruti Suzuki SX4 sedan will be soon launched in India.
