Suzuki Wagon R makes its way to Pakistan
It is reported that Suzuki Indomobil Motors, the Indonesian alliance of Japanese car maker Suzuki is going to export its premium hatchback Karimum Wagon R to Pakistan. By exporting this low priced green car to Pakistan the Japanese car maker intends to dominate the top position of car exporter in Indonesian car market. The hatcback is already being sold in Indian car market and is one of the highly acclaimed hatchbacks offered by India - Japanese joint collaboration Maruti Suzuki India Limited.

The Indonesian alliance of Japanese car maker Suzuki Indomobil Motors started the production of production of Suzuki Karimum Wagon R enriched with 1 litre K series petrol engine at its Tambun production plant from last year in September. Sources close to industry believe that this move Japanese car maker has been taken to offer tough competition to its domestic car making company Toyota Motors which has recently started the exports of small Agya to Pakistan.
The Suzuki Indomobil Motors already captures 55% of car market in Pakistani car market as it already sales it’s all purpose vehicles in Pakistan and now introduction of Wagon R in three variants will further enhance its fleet in Pakistan.
