The 2021 Jeep Compass To Reveal In China On November 22, 2020
According to recent industry reports, the American carmaker Jeep is going to unveil the facelift compact SUV Compass on November 22, 2020, in Guangzhou Salon, China. The 2021 Jeep compass has been undergoing the test drives on Indian roads and other countries. The new Jeep Compass 2021 will debut in the Indian car market sometime during the first quarter of next year.
From the images captured by spies, the updated Compass will undergo lots of cosmetic changes, however continuing the existing design. Based on the photos captured by spies, the facelifted SUV will receive a new seven-slated grille on the front fascia followed by a headlamp unit. Moving to the rear portion, it will not undergo any noticeable change, except the slightly upgraded bumper with revised diffuser and taillights. It is also expected to receive the set of new alloy wheels.
Inside the cabin, there would be no major change except the dashboard in a new layout. The central console is speculated to receive a new ten-inch vertical infotainment system in the tablet layout. Besides these changes, we can also expect a new digital instrument console and a 360-degree camera.
Under the hood, the facelift Jeep Compass will be empowered with a new 1.3-litre turbocharged engine that will generate the power of 180 bhp and the torque of 285Nm. This engine will be mated with a CVT automatic transmission system. The Indian version of 2021 Jeep Compass will be equipped with a 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine generating the power of 173 bhp and the torque of 350Nm. From the reports rumoured it is believed that the new Compass might be equipped with the latest L2 technology embellished with the advanced driver assistance features like traffic jam assists, traffic sign recognition, active blind-spot assistance system, driver attention alert, and many more.
