Volkswagen to Re-launch Beetle in India on 19 December, 2015
It is reported that German car manufacturer Volkswagen is planning to re-launch its “Iconic Beetle” in Indian Car Market on 19 December, 2015 and is expected to be priced around Rs.30 Lakh. Bookings for the same have already started at carmakers dealership stores across country few days ago.
In its third generation Volkswagen Beetle will be offered in single variant, powered by 1395cc in line four cylinder TSI petrol engine churning the power of 148 bhp and a peak torque of 250Nm, equipped with seven-speed DSG transmission and will cover 0-100 kmph in 8.7 seconds before topping out at 203 kmph.
In its new disguise two seater car will be available in four colors namely Tornado Red, Blue Silk, Habanero Orange and Oryx White featuring panoramic sunroof, auto-dimming rear-view mirrors in exteriors whereas in interiors it gets infotainment system with eight speakers and cruise control.
