Recently, the company had said that it is ready to invest heavily in the Indian market but lack of clarity on the policies from the government’s side. It is to be mentioned here that Maharashtra government’s recent changes in the VAT refund policy, in which the government refunds the collection of VAT through the car sales of the car makers who have factories in the state, has impacted the auto makers that have plants, there.
