Audi Q5 business edition launched in India
Audi India, the Indian unit of the Germany based leading luxury car maker Audi, on Tuesday launched a new business edition of its premium class luxury sports utility (SUV) Audi Q5 in the Indian market. The all new Audi Q5 2.0 TDI Quattro carries a price tag of Rs.3,513,000 (ex-showroom Maharashtra). The company will start selling the new edition from the month of October 2011.
Audi is currently market leader in the luxury SUV segment and the launch of new edition of Q5 will further strengthen its position in the Indian auto market. Carrying an attractive price tag, the Audi Q5 will now become affordable for a wide range of buyers.
The car comes loaded with a 2.0L TDI engine which generates a peak power of 170 hp with a maximum torque of 350 Nm at the rate of 1,750 rpm. The power packed Audi Q5 engine is joined with a seven-speed automatic transmission.
The new edition of the SUV is blessed with a range new age styling, convenience and comfort features including 17-inch alloy wheels, leather and leatherette interiors with wood inlays, a multifunctional 4-spoke leather steering wheel, xenon-plus headlights, including LED daytime running lights, etc.
In a bid to enhance the driving pleasure the car maker has offered unique features like Audi media interface with concert radio, a storage package, and the rear parking aid.
Audi is currently the third largest selling luxury car brand in the Indian market following BMW and Mercedes Benz at first and second positions, respectively.
