With the onset of the festive season in the country, automakers are planning to leave no stone unturned in luring the buyers with exciting festive promotions and discounts backed by new car launches. The market conditions in the country have been on a sluggish note owing to the constraints mushroomed in the form of high fuel costs, mounting interest rates, rising input costs, surging import duties along with dwindling value of domestic currency in the foreign exchange market. India, being one of the highest potential markets for small cars, is anticipated to witness robust boost in demand especially in mass market small car segment lead by these car models:-

Maruti Alto 800

The all new Maruti Alto 800 launched today and it seems it has already been looked upon a sales pooler. Alto 800 is offered in India in three petrol and three CNG variants. The bold and boxy exteriors of the Alto 800 are available in six enticing colours matched with upbeat interiors. The petrol variant of the model gives a mileage of around 22.74 kmpl while the CNG variant offers around 30.46 kmkg. Hyundai Eon

The trendy and uber cool rendition of an entry level hatchback, Hyundai EON is currently offered in petrol and LPG variants. Ford Figo
