Hyundai India doles out never before never again monsoon offer

The monsoon is here and so are the offers from the car makers. The most lucrative one has now come from the Koreans car maker Hyundai India. The offer called as 'Never Before Never Again' seems to be true in its spirit as it has offers that are sure to lure customers to the Hyundai showrooms. As per the offer, the Hyundai i10 Era is available at a price of Rs 3.54 lakh while there is a discount of Rs 40,050 on Hyundai Santro Xing and the small car Hyundai Eon has a total savings upto Rs 19,250. It seems that Hyundai wants to repeat what Maruti has done to its cars recently by offering huge discounts and following it Maruti India has bagged considerably decent sales despite of a general slowdown in the market.

Whereas the monsoon will last longer, the monsoon offer by Hyundai will last till July 25 this month only. Hyundai has offered discounts up to Rs 40,000 on all its cars and this is just less than what Maruti declared on Maruti Alto. Hyundai has also floated lucrative exchange schemes following which buying Hyundai cars seems to become much more profitable affair for the car buyers. However, in the light of current petrol price and the Rs 100 per litre jinx, car buyers desist from buying petrol driven cars.

Meanwhile, Hyundai is also offering a discount of Rs 32,000 on Hyundai i20 and Rs 20,000 on Hyundai Accent and Rs 30,000 on Hyundai Verna that is the hot favourite in the sedan segment. Notably, Hyundai cars have a special place in the Indian car market and these are the sold in large numbers after Maruti that sells the largest number of cars in India. Following the petrol price hike, petrol car sales dipped drastically recently and following it entry level car sales slipped to low levels. Maruti and Hyundai were the most affected as these two car makers produce the entry level cars in India. Besides, the price cut in petrol prices, the general sentiment is still low and it has become an uphill task for the car makers to bring car buyers to the showrooms. All the car makers are waiting for Diwali to make a change.
