Maruti Alto 800: 200 units delivered in a single day!

On 19th October 2012, an event was organized in Malappuram, where MSI successfully delivered 200 Alto 800 cars to its sales outlets located in Kottakkunni, near Calicut Kerala to the consumers in a single day. This turned out to be quite a big achievement for Maruti Suzuki India and also gave it the honor of being the first one to do such job in India.

It hasn’t been even a week that Maruti Suzuki India rolled out its new compact car, Maruti Alto 800 and more than 17000 consumers have already booked their cars. With such hike in the bookings, MSI could surely hope for high sales this festive season. One of the most righteous things to be done by the firm was to launch Alto 800 during this festive season. It is surely the best time for all car aspiring consumers to bring home a new car.

If we take in the statistics, the car manufacturer has its fingers crossed and hoping for selling more than 20,000 units every month. this figure has certainly ambitious, but with the craze in India and the evident booking figures, achieving 20000 units sales per month of Alto 800 is not a big task for the firm.

What would support Maruti Suzuki India in raising the Alto 800 sales would be the competitive price. The new Maruti Alto 800 was rolled out with the starting price of Rs. 2.44lakh for the base variant. Furthermore, the 22.74kmpl of mileage delivered by the petrol variant and 30.46km per kg of fuel economy by the CNG variant is another highpoint of the car.
