Maruti Alto 800 bookings cross 24k, 10,000 cars already delivered
It is the Maruti Alto 800 that is proving to be the best selling car this festive season. Already having 24k plus booking, the Alto 800 small car by Maruti is heading to recoup all the loss Maruti had due to the market slump or the outage at the Manesar plant. Meanwhile, Maruti is taking special care that the waiting period of the new car does not rise and making a sincere effort, the car maker has delivered over 10,000 units to their respective owners after the launch. Notably, the Alto 800 CNG model is also getting popular besides the petrol one as it is the highest mileage car in India with over 31 kmpl. Also the Alto 800 price is attracting much car buyers. Meanwhile, the new Chevrolet Spark launch yesterday failed to draw much attention and sources said that bookings figures were not as expected.

It is only 20 days of Alto 800 launch and whooping 24 k bookings and 10k deliveries is a number that any car maker will dream of. Meanwhile, the booking numbers is quite shocking to Tata as the Nano offers almost the same features at a much lesser price and still it is not able to get the required numbers in order to engage its staff at the Sanand plant in Gujarat. Also the booking figure is a sign of warning for Hyundai Eon that has lately enjoyed its honeymoon phase with lots of numbers on the sales chart but now it will have to face severe loss of sales following the launch of the Alto 800.
