It’s time now, the most awaited car this year, the small wonder from Maruti Suzuki India, Alto 800 is all set to be launched on 16th October, 2012. The company has commenced the booking for the car that would certainly make your festive season truly festive. However as of now, the bookings are not usually open, but consider this as the marketing strategy for the company and opened the bookings this time and launch it on October 16th. The company has been advertising the bookings open ad for its Alto 800 on Indian television channels as well.

So the company could expect big booking orders from the aspiring Indian car consumers way before its launch. Maruti Alto 800 was counted amongst the most awaited cars in India this year. The car is replacing its age-old Maruti 800 and would be offered at a very luring price tag. This small wonder by Maruti Suzuki India will be directly challenging Hyundai Eon. Apparently, the car will be launch in both CNG-petrol dual fuel and petrol variants.

Overall, Maruti Suzuki India will roll out six variants of Maruti Alto 800, 3 in petrol and three in CNG-Petrol dual fuel. The 796cc of petrol engine will also been seen here that would comfortably give out good power along with 69Nm of torque. The major highlight would be the fuel efficiency. The car will come with an awesome fuel economy figure of 22.74kmpl certified by ARAI. Furthermore, the company has literally worked hard on the car and has improved the ride and handling of this one. The interior quality has also been enhanced and made more premium as compared to Maruti 800. Finally the cost, Maruti Alto 800 price is lucrative, Rs. 2.45 lakh for petrol variant and Rs. 2.9 lakh for the CNG variant.
