Maruti Alto 800 launched in Mumbai at Rs. 2.60 lakh

After the launch of Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 in the capital, the new small wonder from MSI was rolled out in Mumbai as well. However, the price seemed a bit high here. The fresh Alto 800 in Mumbai was launched with a starting price tag of Rs. 2.60 lakh, which is Rs. 15000 more than the price it was launched New Delhi. However, with this increase in price would not affect the business of Alto 800 as it was been one of the most awaited cars in the Industry this year. The bookings came pouring in since the time it was open and now the waiting period is gradually amplifying day by day.

The launch of Maruti Alto 800 has given the firm an overwhelming moment. The car was undoubtedly one of the most anticipated one and the upgradation for Alto was another major highlight of this cat. The car has been given some chic exteriors, which are a perfect amalgamation of Japanese Alto and Maruti A-Star. The front fascia is blessed with good looking bumper and large headlamps, while the rear features sleek tail lights. And the choice of 6 new colors comprising of Torque Blue Pearl, Frost Blue, Superior White, Silky Silver, granite Grey and Blazing Red Pearl just makes you buy way better.

On the other hand, the engine has been tweaked a little as compared to Alto. The new Maruti Alto 800 now comes with 796cc of three cylinder engine, which produces peak power of 50PS and 69Nm of peak torque. The five-speed manual transmission coupled with the engine facilitates the car to give out a whopping mileage of 22.74kmpl on the highways.
