Maruti Alto 800 VXI variant launches at Rs 3.13 lakh
Maruti Suzuki India Limited has silently launched the VXI variant of the popular small car Maruti Alto 800. The new Maruti Alto 800 VXI variant price for Non-Metalic version is Rs 3.13 lakh while the Metalic version has been offered at Rs 3.17 lakh (Ex-showroom Delhi). The new high-end variant of the small car is priced Rs. 13581 higher than the LXi trim. It comes equipped with many of enhanced features.
The new Alto 800 VXI variant comes equipped with all power windows and central locking as the additional features. But it does not offer left side external mirror. It is powered by an 8.0L, 796cc petrol motor that churns out max power of 48PS and peak torque of 69Nm. The power engine is mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. The new offered high-end variant of the vehicle is expected to give competition to the Hyundai Eon and Chevrolet Spark.
Maruti Alto was launched in India in October 2012 and since launch it has been the best seller for the company. At present, MSIL is exporting the Alto 800 to various countries like Nepal, Algeria, Egypt and Chile. The new top-end variant of the small car is speculated to have good response due to its additional features. On the other hand, MSIL has also launched the CNG model of the Ertiga MPV in India yesterday between Rs 6.52 lakh to Rs 7.30 lakh.
