Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 limited edition launched
Country’s leading car manufacturing company Maruti Suzuki India Limited has launched the limited edition of its highest selling hatchback Alto 800 to Indian car market. Codenamed as Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 Maximum, the limited edition of Alto 800 embellishes not only attractive looks but also bestows various remarkable features like side moldings, rear roof spoiler, ART leather seat covers, keyless entry, side decals and new body graphics. Apart from this the limited edition is offered with additional benefits costing Rs. 66,666.
Apart from petrol variant the Alto 800 is also available in CNG variant and carries CNG kit with i-GPI technology along with warranty of 2 years. The CNG variant offers the fuel efficient performance of 30.46 km/kg. The petrol variant is empowered with 796cc, 3 cylinder petrol engine boosting the power of 47.5 bhp and torque of 69Nm. It delivers an average of 23 kmpl.
It would be interested to know that recently Alto 800 achieved one more milestone in its journey at Indian car market by selling out 25 lakh units of Alto in Indian car market since its inception in 2000. After which in 2010 the car maker introduced brought a major change in Alto 800 by introducing new powerful K10 powerful engine. At present both Alto 800 and Alto K10 are being sold niche of MSIL.
