New Grand Vitara launched in Malaysia, India launch awaited
Suzuki is keeping up very busy these days. The car maker has rolled out the Suzuki Grand Vitara facelift in Malaysia. Everyone knows for the fact that Suzuki specializes in small cars, but Vitara SUV has never disappointed and the facelift variant of the SUV is just perfect. Launching this one in Malaysia shows that Suzuki is putting-in all of its concentration on the Asian market as it recently withdrew from USA due to less profit. In the beginning of 2012, the facelifted variant of Grand Vitara was launched in Japan, which was followed by the launch in Malaysia. However, we could expect that Suzuki might bring the Maruti Grand Vitara in India as well, but no information has been revealed about the same so far.

The new color option- Gaia Bronze Pearl Metallic is sophisticated. Also, the 17 inches of alloy wheels complete the exteriors of the new Vitara. On the inside, the interiors are not been changed substantially, but new sear covers are the new thing inside.

Talking about the engine, Suzuki Grand Vitara facelift launched in Malaysia sports 2.0 litre of petrol engine churning out 138BP power and 183Nm torque. The four-speed automatic transmission mated with the engine makes the car performance better and improved. Now the question arises, if Suzuki will bring this one to India or not. We hope Suzuki thinks this through and bring in Vitara facelift to the Indian car bazaar, which not only make the Suzuki fans happy, but it would also help in widening its portfolio here. Stay Tuned for more updates!

I am confused that other Maruti car models are dominating their segments but why the Maruti Grand Vitara is not doing well? Hopes are that its new model could do well.
