The new Beetle besides being strikingly as beautiful as well will be more concerned about the environment and complies with over 50 American states’ pollution standards. The diesel unit will be frugal and will return a mileage of 16 kmpl on the highway and 12.35 kmpl in the city. The changes in the exteriors are slight and the new Beetle looks similar to the outgoing model. On the inside as well the new Beetle has some additions in the form of new gauges for oil temperature and others apart from a stopwatch and a level indicator that shows the level of the turbo boost.

The new Beetle has been presented as a thrifty and clean model and will be available for sale in May-June next year. The new Volkswagen Beetle is low on both emissions as be as noise harshness and vibrations (NVH) and has a comparatively silent engine than the 1.9L turbocharged engine VW had introduced in Beetle from 1998 till 2006. Apart from this, the new TDi engine has common rail design compared to the fuel injection system earlier. In addition to it Beetle has several subtle elements that reduce the overall NVH and thus increases the life of the engine and the car as a whole.
