Nissan Micra SR Premium for Brazil

A facelift version of Nissan’s famous hatchback Micra has been launched in the Brazilian car bazaar. The new Nissan Micra has been launched with the name of Nissan Micra SR Premium variant. The firm has done a lot of changes in the new Micra and has made it fresh and new. Now the main question arises, whether or not the company will launch the uplifted SR premium model of Micra in India. However, it would be good to see Nissan Micra with a whole new look in India.

On the outside, the hatchback has got revamped front and rear bumper, chrome dipped exhaust pipe accompanied by 15 inches of alloy wheels. The interiors of the car have been done smartly and are provided with grey and black upholstery. The Bluetooth and iPod connectivity with the new audio system makes the entertainment department of the new Nissan Micra SR Premium model up a notch. The car also has power steering with audio controls mounted on it. Under the hood, the car has got a dual fuel 1.6 litre of motor (ethanol-petrol).

Nissan also offers the Nissan Micra hatchback in the Indian car market with both diesel and petrol engine options. The petrol variant here has 1.2 litre of engine, while the diesel one comes blessed with 1.5 litre of K9K turbo diesel motor. The diesel Nissan Micra is a cash cow of the car maker in India as the demand for diesel cars in the country is much higher than that of petrol.

Nissan in India produces the hatchback locally that not only chops down the cost of production but also makes it quite viable and practical in terms of price. According to the fresh reports, Nissan India is mulling to roll out a stripped down variant of the hatchback in the country in order to lure the consumers towards the petrol model of the car.
